Tribute. Discovery Salutes Billy Mays in

Discovery Channel will air Pitchman: A Tribute to Billy Mays tonight (Thursday) at 9 p.m. ET/PT, but has made no decision yet on how to proceed with Pitchmen, the Discovery show he co-starred in. “Hi. Billy Mays here,” the commercials for products such as OxiClean, Orange Glo, Kaboom and the Awesome Auger would begin, making the bearded Mays a well-known TV figure. on June 28 at age 50 of an apparent heart attack at his home in Florida.

The hour-long documentary will showcase Mays’s successful pitching career through in-depth interviews with several members of his immediate family, as well as colleagues in the infomercial industry, including his long-time friend and Pitchmen co-host, Anthony “Sully” Sullivan, Discovery said. Original Productions, creators of Deadliest Catch including Pitchmen, produced it. LOS ANGELES – Mark Landon, the son of the late actor Michael Landon, was found dead inside his West Hollywood home Monday, authorities said. The body of Landon, 60, was found about noon. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the death, but a spokeswoman said there was no evidence of foul play. Michael Landon, one of the stars of “Bonanza” and “Little House on the Prairie” television series, died in 1991 of cancer.
